I, Us, & We emerged from obscurity into the public’s consciousness in 2017 with a sound that was both self-assured and transcendent. The trio; consisting of brothers Jordan, Evan, and Aaron Doverspike, spent the better part of the last decade honing their craft in their Temecula, CA home studio. Temecula’s stark desert landscape served as the perfect backdrop to the music they developed; a haunting and sensual mixture of indie rock, electronica, and R&B that melds together gleaming synths, spacious drum programming and soulful three-part vocal harmonies.

The band’s first single of 2017, “Idol”, made an immediate impact upon its release in May. In just a few short months the track garnered 30k streams on Soundcloud, 20k on Youtube, and (after catching the ear of Spotify curators who inserted them into their Discover Weekly playlist) another 76k streams on Spotify. I, Us, & We quickly embedded themselves in the Los Angeles live music scene thru a serious of high profile performances at bedrock venues like The Troubadour, The Echo, and The Satellite, as well as a performance at Echo Park Rising, Los Angeles’ premiere street festival.

The success of the release and its remix counterparts (from artists Vogel and KANGA), as well as buzz about their live show, captured the attention of Little Assembly, a label imprint of UK-based West One Music, who quickly signed the band. I, Us & We will see it’s first Little Assembly releases this fall in the form of the October 30th release of the single “Tryst” followed by the November 14th release of their first EP, “Ceremonies”.

I, Us & We Release Transcendent New Single, “Tryst”

Los Angeles Based Trio Of Brothers Take Indie-Rock To New Height

Los Angeles, CA - Indie-rock/electronic band I, Us & We released the supernatural new track “Tryst,” an escape route from reality into a daydream filled with sonic synths and stimulating vocals. I, Us & We create an atmosphere with sensual and unique melodies, allowing its listeners to unwind and vanish into a world of their own. “Tryst” is now available for download and streaming on digital music platforms worldwide.

Opening with the juxtaposing combination of airy synths, digital snares and tranquil vocals, I, Us & We’s latest track, “Tryst,” is the new indie-rock anthem mixed by Martin Crane and mastered by Spencer Zahn (Kimbra, Spencer Ludwig). The trio of creators; consisting of brothers Jordan, Evan, and Aaron Doverspike, implement a unique, refreshing sound that is impossible to ignore. Within the captivating beats and sounds, an underlying notion of love and secrecy lurks beyond the surface and throughout the lyrics. “I can’t shake this game sitting here and playing with you, and do you feel the same, ever feel the same as I do, do you,” the band sings.

Born and raised in Temecula, California, the Doverspike brothers are ready to take over the indie rock scene. “Idol,” the band’s first single of 2017, made an instant impact upon its release in May.
